Veteran athletes plus new young skateboarders attended today’s press conference at Circuit of The Americas. Legend Bob Burnquist was almost unrecognized with his new beard and colorful Lizzie Armanto showed calm prior to X Games finals. Rookie Brighton who’s the youngest athlete in X Games history at only 11, was cool as a cucumber. This is the only opportunity for all these athletes from different sport disciplines in one spot.The athletes were excited to get in some practice time today during a break from all the rains and floods in the area. It was hot and sunny as building of all the venues continues to get completed prior to tomorrow. It’s amazing how quickly they can do this!
