Saturday was a killer Punk day-Flag (BLack Flag) was the highlight for many die-hard punkers.Purity Ring had a massive crowd and a total party scene. A few bands we were bummed we missed include: Bob Mould, Pussy Riot, A-trak, Diarrhea Planet,Thee Oh Sees, The Frights, Diet Cig, Courtney Barnett, White Lung, and Youth Code. Overall highlights and lowlights: Although there were some growing pains overall the Fest was impressive and will just get better. The shuttles, the camping, the late night shows, the Fest App,the full schedule (12 hours per day on 4 stages competes with great established fests), and kids enter free. The severe weather evacuation/rain delay/downpours on Sunday were a bummer but the fest continued. Only a couple sets underperformed and felt weak like Death Grips and Wild Nothing. For more info on the fest go SOS.
