This year is special. First, Luck’s celebrating 10 years of the event. After 2 years of pandemic waiting (only virtual events), the word ‘reunion’ has even more meaning this year. We ‘can’t wait to get on the ranch again….just can’t wait to get on the ranch again...’!
The anticipated announcement for the hushed lineup happened today. The ‘anti-fest’, Luck Reunion, will be showcasing over 40 bands, even more diverse with amazing young talent you might have never heard of, and other well-knowns. While focus is still on amazing singer songwriters, there’s a feeling this year- call it human and music/genre diversity-that shows the event is evolving.
Performers include: Jason Isbell (we think he’ll be a guest artist and will play a separate show on the ranch the next night), Texan Charley Crockett, legends Black Lips (an interesting and welcomed addition to the fest), Allison Russell, Japanese Breakfast (not new to Austinites), Sunflower Bean (SXSW darlings), Austin’s own Jackie Venson, and rockers Delta Spirit. Check out our new Spotify Luck playlist to hear some lesser knowns like Bendigo Fletcher, Tre Burt, Abby Hamilton, Ida Mae, 49 Winchester, Adia Victoria, and more. And as always, the Willie Nelson family rounds out the roster and usually closes out the night.
“We can’t wait to celebrate ten years of Luck and to see our ‘Luck Family’ return to the stage.”
Luck Reunion takes place March 17th on Willie Nelson’s Ranch in Luck, Texas, just outside Austin (sold out for months). For the lucky, there are 3 straight nights at the ranch this year starting with an amazing Chef’s Luck Potluck on the 16th, featuring Duff Goldman and more. Check out details at Luck Presents.
