It included stellar music performances plus a beautiful fashion show called Desert Roses, a cool beer garden for Octoberfest, Burlesque show from Austin’s Jigglewatts Burlesque Review, cool food and merch vendors, good vibes, and no assholes! The Burlesque show featured central Texas designers.
Music legend Tanya Tucker was a highlight for many (her daughter sings in the band too), but so was charismatic Jake Wesley Rogers, just off his tour supporting Panic at the Disco. The unique Orville Peck, who gives us Elvis vibes, had a cult following with many fans decked out in dazzling masks and outfits. Headliner Disco Cowboy closed out night 2.
We always love local Shinyribs (Kevin Russell) who put on a fun, entertaining set, as did the Alex Meixner band with other Sunday performers-Walt & Tina Wilkins, Sunny Sauceda, Walburg Boys, Alpenmusikanten, Tanzenfest, and Yodel Blitz.
On the first night, Ryan Quiet, Los Lobos, Paul Cauthen’s Big Velvet Review (and Luck regular) and Austin’s David Ramirez representing Americana music too.
