The Austin Film Society and Focus Features announce Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element, the Resident Evil franchise) will be joining fellow cast members from Dazed and Confused at the upcoming 30th-anniversary screening at the Paramount Theatre on September 28 at 7 p.m. Jovovich will be part of 15 original cast members joining AFS Founder and Artistic Director Richard Linklater on the red carpet and on-stage at the Paramount for a screening of the film followed by a Q&A.
This event has sold out, but those seeking tickets can add their name to a waitlist (click here). The encore screening at AFS Cinema (with Richard Linklater and select cast) on September 29 has also sold out. However, AFS Cinema will be showing a new 4K restoration of the film (without special guests) starting on October 4. Tickets and more information are available at AustinFilm.org.
