Rolling Stone’s 3rd annual Future of Music at ACL Live at Moody Theater 3/11-14 Benson Boone (3/11) – riding the wave following his viral Tik Tok song “Beautiful Things” and recent well talked about Grammy performance, Boone joins the diverse lineup in the Rolling Stone music showcase.


-SXSW Community Concerts at Lady Bird Lake (free and open to the public) 3/9 Sir Woman – this soulful, genre spanning Austin artist of the year has received national recognition for her music and is on the cusp of just having released the first of her double album this year.


-Paste Party presented by Ilegal Mezcal at East Austin’s High Noon 3/12-14 Sunflower Bean -SX indie rock alums via NY are on the brink of their new album release in April; having just supported Cage the Elephant on European tour last month and embarking on their own headlining tour in May they’re making a stop for some music showcases.


-Yeti Music Showcase presented by BMI at their flagship 3/12-14 Grace Bowers – This 18 year old guitar phenom has quickly risen to stardom and currently supporting Austin’s own Gary Clark Jr on his current tour as a special guest; she will also be making an appearance via BMI at Willie Nelson’s Luck Reunion during the festival


-Ginuwine at Empire Garage 3/11 for the concert and music summit Take Action x SXSW raising awareness and inspired action around gun violence prevention and mental health in music presented by Artist for Action and Sandy Hook Promise.


-John Fogerty at Stubb’s 3/11- an exclusive show by classic rock icon and former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman was announced alongside his keynote with Tom Morello the following day.


-Frankie and the Witch Fingers various showcases including Third Man Records + Creem Magazine and Waterloo Records – bringing their sonic psychedelia that Levitation Fest knows well here in Austin, this LA four-piece is bringing a high energy show to a handful of showcases.


-Tomar and the FCs various showcases at Austin favorite venues C-boy’s, Continental Club and Hotel Vegas – Austin’s beloved soul band will be hitting a handful of local favorite venues


-Dr Marten’s Presents @ SXSW triple header to watch 3/16 – Black Angels, MUNA, and Surfbort – at Container Bar – concertgoers can enjoy a showcase of psych rock, indie pop, punk rock respectively alongside interactive art by illustrator Mollie Tuggle and maybe even score some on-site ink with resident festival tattooers.


-Die Spitz Third Man Records + Creem – it’s a guaranteed high energy stage performance by this all-female Austin four piece “mayhem-inciting” rock group.
